  2. Generally speaking early, early morning or late afternoon. 1 hour after sunrise, 1 hour before sunset. By photographing then you eliminate the harsh bright sun and shadows you may get during the day. It also depends on the area of the garden you use as some areas do get some shade. When the roses are in full bloom, the garden can get busy with people walking the garden enjoying the roses especially on the weekends.
I would visit the garden by yourself in early morning and again in the evening to find the spot that suited you. Do this before you bring the family down as they will get frustrated with you as you look for the BEST spot!

  3. Hello I had a question. I see that you have winter pruning during this time of year. Are there roses to photography during this ending part of February? My brother and my sister in law want to shoot pictures of them pregnant and I can't think of a more beautiful place than a rose garden. But before we head out I wanted to make sure there will be flowers this time of year. We plan on going February 28. Thank you for your time.

  6. Is this garden still a thing? I live in Chandler and would like to photography flowers today, but can not seem to find any reference to this garden that is less than a year old. Also I have no idea if roses are in bloom in September.

  7. Unfortunately you will find few if any roses worth photographing at the moment. We will begin a general prune in about two weeks, then as the weather cools late October and November the Rose Garden will be back to prime photography season, the other being mid March to early June.

  8. Hi, I was wondering what the rules are regarding taking photos at the rose garden? Can I just show up or are there forms or fees?

  10. The Rose Garden is in the middle of its winter prune so there are no blooms available to photograph. It will be back in bloom about the middle of March.

  11. Is it allowed to get married in the rose garden? It would only be a small ceremony with 10 guests.
